STULZ - Your Partner for Integrated Liquid Cooling Infrastructures
The increasing use of high-performance computers is presenting cooling infrastructure with new challenges. The efficient and reliable management of extremely high heat loads is of major importance. Consequently, the demand for innovative cooling solutions is on the rise, with liquid cooling (LC) emerging as a particularly promising option. STULZ stands as your global partner, offering cutting-edge solutions to tackle these challenges and ensure future-proof cooling infrastructure.
Liquid Cooling Technologies
Direct Chip Liquid Cooling (DCLC)
- Efficient heat transfer: Cold plates are mounted directly above heat sources (e.g., CPUs, GPUs) to enable immediate and efficient heat transfer at the source.
- Coolant circulation: A network of fine tubes delivers coolant straight to the processors for precise thermal control. The heated fluid is then circulated via Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) to re-coolers.
- Supplementary air cooling: While the system is primarily liquid-cooled, 20–30% of the thermal load is managed by air-cooled systems.
- Integration into existing data centers: Can be retrofitted into traditional air-cooled environments without major structural changes.
- Scalability: DCLC systems are scalable to support a wide range of rack densities and data hall configurations.

Immersion Cooling
- Full Submersion: IT Equipement, such as servers, is fully submerged in a non-conductive liquid within an insulated tank.
- Superior Heat Dissipation: Submerging IT equipment in a non-conductive liquid ensures efficient heat absorption and dissipation.
- Uniform Cooling: Provides uniform cooling for all submerged components.
- Supplementary Air Cooling: Approximately 5% of the heat load are covered by air-cooled systems.
- Encapsulated system design: Fully enclosed systems are more resilient to dust, humidity, and temperature fluctuations.
