The first air-conditioner in Kuwait was brought by Mr. Morad Yousuf Behbehani, Carrier's JV partner, in 1946. This was a Carrier unit bought from an exhibition in New York and was presented to the then Amir of Kuwait. That's how history of air-conditioning began in Kuwait.
